Hambleton ARS

About us

Hambleton Amateur Radio Society [HARS] was formed in 1984 when several local amateur radio enthusiasts met in a local pub. We  meet regularly for discussion, operation and training in amateur radio. Courses and training are offered for Foundation, Intermediate and Full amateur radio licences as and when there is demand. We have access to an examination centre to hold the examinations locally. We are affiliated to the Radio Society of Great Britain.

Meeting times

Club meetings take place fortnightly on Wednesday evenings.
Doors open at 7.30pm with activities usually starting shortly after 8.00pm
