About us

Hambleton Amateur Radio Society [HARS] was formed in 1984 when several local amateur radio enthusiasts met in a local pub! We  meet regularly for discussion, operation and training in amateur radio. Courses and training are offered for Foundation, Intermediate and Full amateur radio licences as and when there is demand. We have access to an examination centre to hold the examinations locally. We are affiliated to the Radio Society of Great Britain. We are a friendly and welcoming club so why not drop by and find out more about amateur radio Everyone welcome! See our club night schedule for more information about the dates upto Christmas. Keep coming back as the meeting schedules will be updated – stay tuned to our social media channels too!
